Shannon Kane is an experienced and versatile leader of analytics, finance, and operations. During her 20-year career in health care, she has led medical economics, actuarial, network management, customer operations and clinical informatics, bringing a strategic and data driven approach to her work. She was a founding leader of the Medical Economics function at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, a role that involved collaborating with her staff and a cross-functional team to identify trend drivers and opportunities to manage health care costs.
In her most recent role as Vice President of Clinical Informatics for Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan, Shannon was responsible for quality reporting, care management and risk analysis, and clinical registries for a $2B provider-sponsored health plan. Shannon has worked with providers and insurers to help drive success in risk-based contracts and programs. She is experienced in Commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare business.
Shannon graduated from Fairfield University with a degree in Mathematics and Biology minor and received her MBA with a concentration in Finance from Babson College.
